The Boeing CH-47 Chinook Helicopter is a twin-engine, tandem rotor, heavy-lift helicopter whose primary functions are troop movement, artillery placement and battlefield resupply. It is still one of the fastest helicopters with a top speed of 170 knots. They first started appearing in Vietnam in 1965. The most spectacular mission for the Chinook was placing artillery batteries in precarious mountain positions and then keeping them resupplied with ammunition and supplies.
The Chinook Helicopter silhouette is laser cut and embedded - it will not rub or wear off.
